2 1/4 Hours - Departing from Alexandria Bay, this international tour offers close-up enjoyment of historic and scenic wonders in both Canadian and American sections of the 1000 Islands. Professional guides unfold a colorful historical tapestry of the river, the islands, and the magnificent homes that you'll view on this special tour. As you journey through narrow island passages, surrounded by the natural beauty of the islands, you'll marvel at the majesty, diversity and originality of the island homes. Tour includes an unlimited stop at historic Boldt Castle (In Season). All tours stop at historic Boldt Castle from May 10 to Oct 13 and on Oct. 18 and 19. For an additional charge, tour the castle and grounds at your leisure, then return on any Uncle Sam Tour Boat or the Boldt Castle Shuttle. Stay as long as you wish: from 1/2 hour to an hour, or all day. Daily

- Uncle Sam Boat Tours is pleased to announce the addition of this
new tour to its already popular line of scenic 1000 Islands Tours. The
Singer Castle Tour provides a unique opportunity to visit the newly
opened
SINGER CASTLE
on Dark Island. Departing from the boat lines docks at the foot
of James Street in downtown Alexandria Bay, the trip covers an eleven
mile section of the St. Lawrence River not offered in any of our other
tours. Our experienced tour guides will provide a lively narrative on
both the down river trip to the castle and return trip to Alexandria
Bay. At the castle, trained guides will greet our passengers and provide
a one-hour walking tour. At the end of the trip there is the option to
disembark at Boldt Castle on Heart Island where guests can enjoy a
self-guided tour of the castle and its grounds.
Guests not wishing to disembark at Boldt Castle can remain on board and
return to Alexandria Bay. Boldt Castle admission is additional. 10 min. ride - Tour the magnificent castle and grounds of famous Boldt Castle on Heart Island. Begun in 1900 by Waldorf Astoria's George Boldt as a summer home for his wife Louise, this turreted stone marvel was nearly completed but never lived in. Stay for an hour or all day. Return on any Uncle Sam Tour Boat or Boldt Castle Shuttle. (Additional modest admission charge at castle) Departures every
half hour from 10 am to 5 pm,
1 Hour - A 1000 Island sunset is a very special experience. Here, the twilight hour unveils a beauty of the river and islands not seen at other times of the day. These romantic tours explore a section of the islands not visited during the regular day tours, including the Sport Island group and historical Grenadier Island, the site of many battles during the French and Indian War. This trip does not stop at Boldt Castle on Heart Island.

You'll be captivated by the music from our nightly live entertainment. Enchanting aromas of your feast, freshly prepared by the chefs at nearby Capt.'s Landing Restaurant, will lure you to the delights of the buffet. Start your dinner off with a Caesar Salad and rolls. Then choose from Prime Rib, Breast of Chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce, or a Vegetarian Lasagna along with vegetable and potato. Top off our full-course dinner with rich cheesecake. While you dine, we'll cruise through the many small island waterways and seaway channels, presenting a fascinating, ever changing view that no restaurant dining room could ever match.
